Other events happening at the museum are an Ancient crafts workshop for adults to weave your own mobile cover, a tartan weaving workshop for children, a railway heritage walk led by Susan Kruse from ARCH and an ancient storytelling workshop with Lizzie McDougall.

To book for any of these FREE events call 01997 421031 or e-mail curator@highlandmuseumofchildhood.org.uk

Our programme of activities for children and families will start on Tuesday 26th July with a drama and stories workshop with Lizzie McDougall.  Inspired by stories of the railway station children can get a chance to devise and perform a drama including putting together costumes and making small props.

On Thursday 28th July is Mish Mash Arts & Crafts.  We have lots of craft materials and bits & bobs that we have gathered over the years so we’d like to use them up!

Tuesday 2nd August is Geocaching and a Treasure Hunt.  We’d like to set up a Geocache at the museum so come and help us.  We’ll also let you create a treasure hunt around our grounds.

And finally on Thursday 4th August is Glo in the Dark crafts.  Make lots of different things including jewellery, glo jars, monsters that glow in the dark!

To book or find out more call 01997 421031 or e-mail curator@highlandmuseumofchildhood.org.uk
